Mountaineering tradition meets innovation and performance, with Stellar GTX Nubuk. The upper in fine nubuck combines with the excellent insulation from atmospheric agents, guaranteed by the Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane and the construction of the boot returns an unparalleled, enveloping and protective fit with the protective edge and the Lycra collar. Protection is guaranteed by the toe cap with ultra-performance rubber reinforcement and by Kayland’s Ankle Lock System which supports the ankle and guarantees its natural movement. The Stellar line makes the sole its spearhead: the foot rests directly on the soft EVA midsole which increases the cushioning in the support and in the impact with the roughness. The Vibram® Stellar sole is designed exclusively for Kayland. The internal construction has a honeycomb exhaust that lightens the structure, facilitates thermal insulation and the shock-absorbing effect. The internal wedge in dual density PU foam, positioned above the PU mounting insole, also perforated to unload the weight and increase torsional stability. The sole block integrates the insert for the preparation for the use of the semi-automatic crampon. Comfort and performance come together and redefine the concept of mountaineering performance according to Kayland’s mountaineering DNA.
